SMS consent and opt-in — Kelesx

How clients of dealerships on Kelesx opt in to text messages: the web form in the client portal, the verbal consent script and the START keyword; message frequency, message and data rates, HELP and STOP, sample messages.

• Sender: Kelesx Inc, operator of the platform; messages are sent from the platform number on behalf of the dealership the client ordered the car from
• Web form: in Profile → Notifications of the client portal the client enters a mobile number and ticks a box that is unticked by default
• Verbal: when the order is placed the dealership employee reads the consent script, asks “Do you agree to receive these text messages?” and the platform sends a confirmation text
• Keyword: the client texts START to the dealership number and receives the confirmation text; STOP cancels at any time, HELP returns the dealership’s contact details
• Message frequency varies with the orders, typically 1–5 messages per car. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase
• Transactional messages only — car status, invoices, titles received and replies to the client’s own questions; no marketing. Mobile numbers are not shared with third parties
